A sleek dining space merging Asian elements (miniature Buddha statues set into walls, cherry wood and bamboo accents) and modern décor (straight leatherback chairs and stainless steel lamps overhead) provides the backdrop for the comprehensive Thai menu. Starters include the sweet and citrusy tom kha: chicken cooked in a coconut soup with mushrooms, galangal and lime. Entrées span both spicy and mild selections. For a lively kick, try the jungle curry, a no-coconut dish with eggplant, green beans, bamboo shoots, basil and your choice of meat, vegetables or seafood. The pineapple fried rice with onions, eggs and cashews, and again, a choice of meat, vegetables or seafood will leave the taste buds stimulated but not tingling. There are also a number of vegetarian options that lack neither flavor nor authenticity; combinations like tofu and mushroom and spicy eggplant are just as satisfying as everything else on the menu.
