This Vivo is a spin-off of the Chicago eatery of the same name. It's chic yet homey, with brick walls, high ceilings, velvet drapes and just enough soft light to create an atmosphere in which everyone looks good. The small tables are set close together; at peak times, the place can get quite loud thanks to the bar, which is typically decorated with pretty young things and their dates. The menu is skewed toward contemporary Italian fare as well as meat, poultry and seafood. Two pasta dishes---ravioli and risotto---are different each day, and the chef's imagination is a wonderful thing to behold.
