The Wishing Well Restaurant Review:
Located in a sprawling old white house on a busy highway, The Wishing Well was a summer dining destination from 1936 to 1968, when it became a year-round restaurant. The rooms, decorated with books, knickknacks and lacy curtains, give the impression you’re eating at Grandma’s. The classic continental menu reinforces the illusion with old standards including lobster bisque with cream sherry, calf’s liver and onions, prime rib and veal Oscar. Maternal waitresses, some of whom have worked there for nearly 40 years, leave you wanting nothing.
