Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review

: A large bronze representation of a yellowtail fish greets guests at the entrance to this restaurant, which offers a blend of authentic traditional and modern Japanese cuisine. Inside, dark wood tables are joined with leather booths that combine for a contemporary and retro look. An outdoor patio affording a front row view of Bellagio's fountain show and the Vegas Strip is the optimum location to enjoy chef Akira Back's creations. Seasonal items from the sea are flown in daily from all over the world, some served within 72 hours of being caught. Begin with the big-eye tuna pizza --- a crisp tortilla covered with a layer of tuna topped with micro shiso and truffle oil. An array of sashimi and sushi includes the baked crab hand roll with spicy aïoli, crispy onions and black sesame seeds. Meat lovers will like the tender braised Kobe beef short ribs, served with a teriyaki reduction. An extensive saké collection is available to enhance the innovative cuisine. Save room for the chocolate in a cup --- it's a pleasant marriage of flavors combining chocolate cake, Nutella, vanilla ice cream and banana foam.
