Yung Kee Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Yung Kee has been famous for decades --- a success since Kam Shui Fai founded it in the 1940s. He grew the business from a successful food stall and eventually commissioned the Yung Kee Building that houses the present restaurant as well as the KEE Club on the sixth floor. Locals and visitors alike flock to the multi-level high decibel dining room, which is at its busiest during lunch. Roast goose is the signature dish, with the hundred-year-old eggs, roast pigeon and crispy prawns with crab roe also rightly well known, though the extensive menu also offers soups, noodles and myriad preparations of duck, frog, pigeon, beef, pork and seafood. Dim sum is another option, with classic items like barbecue pork and goose liver buns. The wine list is varied, albeit with only a small selection of Chinese wines. Service is expedient though obvious preference is shown to regulars. Be aware that the restaurant doesn't provide napkins, so be sure to bring your own.
