THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED When Zoom Kitchen, the cafeteria-style chain known for its salads and casual vibe, shuttered, plenty of people were put out. Now, they’re sighing in collective relief due to this revamped concept, a sit-down experience in a contemporary environ with some of the same menu faves. In front, a counter caters to grab-and-dash diners, while the back of the small space beckons others to linger while watching flat-screens on celery-green walls. Salads are still an option, and they can be customized with fillers like feta, dried fruit and pumpkin seeds and splashed with tart balsamic vinaigrette. We like the meatloaf sandwich topped with smoky-sweet tomato chutney on a soft potato roll but recommend steering clear of the not-so-fresh tilapia tacos, which can’t be saved despite a fine mango salsa on top. For dessert, grab a lemon “Molly Cake,” a cute, fluffy cupcake with sugary frosting. Curbside service is available.
