THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Apsleys, A Heinz Beck Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Apsleys, A Heinz Beck Restaurant, launched in 2009, is the namesake chef’s first restaurant outside of Italy. The décor is luxurious Venetian, with flower arrangements and skylights that permit light into the restaurant. A meal allows diners to experience a range of subtle tastes, from Sicilian prawns with red pepper couscous and marinated courgettes to tuna tartare with white tomato mousse and olives, and extending to soups, pastas and risottos and mains such as salt-crusted sea bass with saffron potatoes and artichoke or a Pyrénées leg of lamb for two. The wine list is flush with Italian wines, many of which will not be known in this country. Prices on the à la carte menu are inevitably high: starters from £18 to £29 (unless you splash out on the Imperial caviar at £350); main dishes run from £29 to £38. So you might do better to take the lunch menu, at £25 for two courses and £35 for three.
