While there’s plenty of places with authentic Greek fare to be found in Greektown, it’s the city skyline views and a flower-frocked outdoor terrace that really set Athena apart from the pack. Enjoy a light white wine beneath the stars, or head indoors during colder months to feast on hearty Greek staples. Gyros, moussaka, dolmades --- they're all here and then some. Braised lamb and char-grilled octopus are available, too. Should you need incentive to head inside, there's flaming saganaki (take note that it isn’t flamed outdoors). End your meal with sweet baklava and a boozy coffee beverage.
