Bank Restaurant Review:

Bank stretches from the bustling, perennially popular Zander Bar into a glassed-in conservatory at the back that looks out onto a peaceful fountain and paved garden. The restaurant caters to the local business clientele at lunchtime, while the conservatory is booked by couples in the evening. Dishes run from peppered tuna steak with a béarnaise sauce to fish ‘n’ chips, and from potted shrimp salad to spring lamb with buttered carrots and turnips. The catch-all approach generally works well. The cooking is not spectacular, just very reliable. An after-office crowd frequents the long bar.
