Brewer's Fork Restaurant Review:

Sure, you can find places offering pizza and beer anywhere in Boston, but there’s only one destination in Charlestown that stands out for its wood-fired pies and selection of brews. The menu at Brewer's Fork includes cured raw beef salad, clam and bacon wood-fired pizza, oven-roasted meatballs with sheep's milk cheese, and hearty Downeast mussels made with cider, bacon, apples and mushrooms. The charcuterie board is ideal for sharing, while the flatbread salad is worthy of being selfish. The smoked pulled pork pizza tastes even better when topped with Honeycrisp apples, fresh shallots, melted cheddar, a sprinkling of thyme and a dash of lemon. Order a local brew from the impressive selection on tap to go with the crispy pie. Featured are Jack's Abby of Framingham on tap, as well as some drafts from nearby Night Shift Brewing of Everett. For dessert, we recommend the cheeseboard filled with the day's selections. Be sure to check out the patio during the warmer months for an afternoon of al fresco dining.
