CLINK. Restaurant Review:

CLINK. inhabits part of the former Charles Street Jail, which now serves as a posh hotel. What were prison cells, with iron clad walls and exposed brick, are the setting for this high-end restaurant. Artisan cheeses, charcuterie and a raw bar surely are no prison fare. Built in the mid-nineteenth century, the building is an architectural marvel with its sophisticated interior. The open kitchen serves up modern American cuisine, such as beef short ribs and monkfish or a dry-aged strip loin steak. The restaurant has worked out most of its kinks since first opening, when service was slow with harried servers. Just outside the restaurant, adjacent to the main lobby, is the sexy CLINK. bar, popular with the after-work crowd and late night groups of twenty- and thirty-somethings. On Saturday and Sunday, a brunch menu in addition to a traditional breakfast menu is offered.
