Maggie O'Brien's Restaurant Review:

Local sports play into every aspect of this downtown pub, from what’s showing on the big-screen TVs to the game shuttles ferrying fans back and forth to the stadiums. And during those rare times no local team is playing, fans amuse themselves with video games, billiards and darts in the back room. The crowd prefers Bud, especially after the game, but there’s a decent selection of imported bottled beers, including Guinness to wash down Irish beef stew or corned beef and cabbage. Most of the menu is traditional American bar-and-grill fare, with a heavy emphasis on sandwiches like the Shamrock --- tenderloin medallions between hunks of garlic-cheese bread --- but the smoker gets a workout on the weekends.
