![]() FLIP burger boutique Restaurant Review: Located just beyond Buckhead's core, Richard Blais's second Atlanta FLIP outpost offers a generous bar and a bit more seating than the flagship. Famous for its use of foie gras in milk shakes and as a burger ingredient (that version rings in at $19), FLIP’s menu presents a wide variety of burger choices, three of which you can get on a slider sampler. The beef burger, made from locally raised grass-fed meat, remains our favorite; in addition, some of the “burgers” are vegetarian, while others focus on seafood, turkey, lamb and chorizo, to name a few. Fries are crisp and delectable, especially with the smoky mayonnaise; we also like the sweet potato tots with Blais's trademark blue cheese foam, and the fried pickles with house-made ranch for dipping. The short wine list touts enough decent reds to make a by-the-glass choice easy. Good bottled beers and a few fine draughts also are available. Split a milk shake for dessert. Also located at 1587 Howell Mill Rd. NW, 404-352-3547. |
