After four decades in the Los Angeles area, chef John Rivera Sedlar returned to his native New Mexico and opened ELOISA in the Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe.

Chef Dominique Crenn will open Petit Crenn in San Francisco

Billed as an "homage to her mother and grandmother's cooking," and featuring cuisine reminiscent of her native Brittany, Dominique Crenn's upcoming Hayes Valley restaurant Petit Crenn is said to be shooting for a July opening. Set in the space that housed Bar Jules for eight successful years, the sister offshoot of Crenn's famous Atelier Crenn will be a casual café and restaurant with all-day service, including a prix-fixe dinner option most evenings. Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, the forces behind Eleven Madison Park and The NoMad, will open a third restaurant in New York City. There are no details about the spot except that it will be located at 425 Park Avenue and won't actually fire up the burners for another two or more years. Read more...
