THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Acqua Restaurant Review:

The setting is contemporary and the food is resolutely trendy at Acqua. Formerly known as The Third Floor, so-called for its location in the Hawaiian Regent Hotel, it has streamlined good looks and a sunset ocean view previously hidden behind heavy curtains. For a while, the focus was on Mediterranean fare with a bistro buzz, then the display kitchen moved into such things as sesame-crusted ahi and rock-shrimp cakes, cribbed off other Hawaii Regional menus. Now it’s a Brazilian radizio restaurant, with barbecue meats served on huge swords. There’s everything from salt-rubbed tri-tip steak to turkey breast wrapped in bacon. Our favorite thing here is not the food, though; it’s the salsa music for dancing in the lounge.
