THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Andaman Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review:

Yet another of the Sala Thai restaurants around town, this falls into stride with DC's Thai restaurant leader and rival, but this small group is still a few steps behind. The food is good, though by no means outstanding, and would be worth a return trip if only for the crunchy soft shell crabs in their sweet-hot sauce. We also loved the just-sweet mee krob and Pinky in the Blanket, or deep-fried shrimp-wrapped shrimp. Cooks here also do a commendable job with the Drunken Noodles and on some future visit, we'd look for the duck. For some reason, the kitchen whips up several lamb dishes, which are really not traditional Thai fare but apparently appeal to Westerners. If you are fond of Thai curries, you can get your fill, as the menu lists six different options, and includes your choice of chicken, shrimp, pork, or beef. Desserts stick to such Thai classics as fried bananas and sticky rice with mango, plus an all-American treat, Key lime pie.
