Once more, Stephen Starr has opened a dinner-theater. This time, the show is traditional Italian food lovingly prepared by Chris Painter that may just change your whole idea about Italian food. The setting is unbelievably lush---gorgeous lighting, exquisite fabrics, huge paintings of cavorting nudes. The impeccable waitstaff will bring you thin crust pizzas and airy calamari, heavenly pappardelle Bolognese and great rib-eye steak Florentine, or even rabbit cacciatore. Terrific desserts from Adriana Paveglio. It's a feast for the eye as well as the digestive tract, and right now, the best show in town.
