THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Au Rendez-Vous Restaurant Review:
Jean-Claude Changivy opened this charming and very inexpensive French bistro with his family, and he gained a following for the friendly service and good dining value. You will find the classics such as boeuf bourguignon, daube, and casserole-roasted chicken. Fresh vegetables adorn the plates, and the daily soup is another traditional dish; we particularly like the soupe au pistou, a spring specialty. In cold weather, the leftovers from the cassoulet will have you well fed for another day. Rabbit and duck also are well prepared. For dessert, consider any of the crêpes, like the version with maple syrup and pistachios. No wine is served, but you're invited to bring your own bottle --- the corkage fee is just $4 per person. While locals may write a check, others should bring cash.
