THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Coolhaus Restaurant Review:

Coolhaus is an arty ice cream sandwich truck made from a converted postal van with chrome rims, a pink top, and a fold-down bar and table. It seems simple: pick your cookie --- chocolate, chocolate chip, ginger, oatmeal raisin, snickerdoodle or brioche --- and choose an ice cream to pack inside. But then the choices of tantalizing flavors numb your mind almost as easily as the ice cream numbs your mouth. Go traditional? There’s vanilla bean, cinnamon and strawberry. A little more gourmet? Try blood orange, chocolate chipotle, sea salt caramel or mascarpone with balsamic fig. Totally weird? You’ve gotta choose between brown butter with candied bacon (arguably a good one for breakfast) or pistachio with black truffles. The sandwiches are generously overstuffed, and the servers are cool and artsy, which is what you’d expect, of course, from a truck called Coolhaus.
