Figaro Bistrot Restaurant Review:

If not for the English voices, you'd swear this little bistro was in the heart of the fifth arrondissement, thanks to a 150-year-old stained glass ceiling, authentic zinc bar and Art Nouveau lighting fixtures. It’s a lovely environment for a respectable café au lait and pain au chocolate in the morning, and breakfasts are solid and generously plated. At night, it’s best to stick to tried-and-true bistro favorites, such as French onion soup, escargots Bourgogne, rotisserie chicken and entrecôte au poivre in black pepper-Cognac sauce, served with better-than-average pommes frites. We've enjoyed the duck confit, only to be disappointed on subsequent visits. The small, mostly French wine list is very reasonably priced and very appropriate for a bistro, while some pricier Burgundies show up on a reserve list. Fruit tarts, soufflés and pastries from the in-house boulangerie make for pleasant finales.
