Featured on Travel Channel’s Man vs. Food in 2011, Giovanni’s Original White Shrimp Truck offers four Hawaiian favorites: shrimp scampi, lemon butter shrimp, a jumbo garlic hot dog, and a “No Refunds” hot & spicy shrimp. The popular scampi is heavy on the garlic; try it with hot sauce on the side. Two trucks on Oahu cover Kamehameha Highway --- historic Kahuku (56-505) and Haleiwa (66-472; 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m.). Both trucks are now parked there permanently.
