Icebergs Dining Room & Bar Restaurant Review:

Icebergs’ terrace offers outdoor dining overlooking the southern end of iconic Bondi Beach, with the rock pool and ocean stretched out beyond. Those who can tear their eyes away from the panorama will notice that the restaurant’s interior has been kept intentionally simple, the ultra-sleek décor with modern and minimalist lines is tinted blue, green and cream to match the waves and sand. Food is just as beguiling as the design, reflected in chef Monty Koludrovic’s regional Italian menu. Look for oysters served with cold pressed organic lemon dressing; antipasti of local burrata; Blackmore bresaola; and a main of Kurobuta pork belly, cheek and crackling paired with radicchio jam, beetroot and endive. Expect to see whichever whole fish is freshest and best that day at the market on the menu. Then there’s assaggini, seasonal cured meats paired with pickles and grissini. Vegetarians have their own menu. Finally, crostoli, granita, cannoli, gelati and other authentic Italian desserts, accompanied by their own wine list, bring a meal to its most appropriate conclusion. That’s unless you choose to stay on and order another bottle from the list of local and international wines and Champagnes.
