There’s nothing ordinary about Stephanie Izard’s follow-up to Girl & The Goat: not the ambition and certainly not the size of the dishes. The design puts a modern spin on the diner, with tufted leather booths and sleek light fixtures. The menu also doesn’t rely on tradition, as evidenced by luxurious pork belly pancakes and a paratha breakfast burrito. As the day wears on, move on to “Sloppy Goats” and the “All American” burger on a sesame seed bun, complemented by rosemary slaw. Quench your thirst with the house sodas, and treat your sweet tooth to a playful “Choco Taco” sundae with sour cream gelato. Looking for something stronger? There is a very brief wine list, along with classic cocktails and a roster of rotating craft beers.
