The red and black lounge located on the first floor of The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square maintains a film noir motif via aptly named cocktails. The wine list is modest as most people come for the specialty drinks. A bar menu of snacks includes items like charcuterie, chicken wings and roasted Brussels sprouts. There is also a selection of salads, sliders and grilled flatbreads. Try the Boston cream pie to end the night right. Look out for happy hour specials.
