Pizza Barbone Restaurant Review:

This chef-owned venture brings a little taste of the Italian countryside to downtown Hyannis. The menu is designed to showcase the flavors that emerge from the restaurant's custom Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven, shipped in from Naples. But it’s the bounty of Pizza Barbone's rooftop garden that brings bright colors and flavors to every dish. Pizzas are the highlight, with standouts like the Barbone meatball, classic margherita and crushed potato with bacon. Fresh, vibrant salads and a selection of appetizers perfect for sharing, including arancini and roasted cauliflower with pickled red onion, are available, too. Be sure to check the board of daily specials for innovative morsels not on the menu. The drinks list is limited but does offer a nice handful of wines and beers. It is worth saving room for the cannoli or the Barbone “Oreos.”
