Pizza Barbone Restaurant Review: What started as a mobile brick oven venture traveling around Cape Cod became a brick and mortar restaurant in 2012. Spouses and business partners Ali and Jason O'Toole employ a handmade, custom Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven. Neapolitan pizzas, crafted with seasonal ingredients, include the Crushed Potato pie with garlic cream, crushed creamer potato, bacon, mozzarella and scallion; and the Bianca Verde that features roasted garlic, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmigiano, baby arugula, basil, and a balsamic glaze. Guests can choose from a number of appetizers, including Barbone meatballs and chickpea crostini, as well as salads. Desserts boast an Italian influence, with choices like cannoli with honey, orange zest and chocolate chips, and homemade gelato served with biscotti.
