Poke Stop Restaurant Review:

Chef Elmer Guzman, a graduate of the Kapiolani Community College Culinary Arts program, trained under renowned chef Alan Wong, worked as a sous chef under Emeril Lagasse, and was the executive chef at Sam Choy's Diamond Head Restaurant before opening his two Poke Stop locations (one in Waipahu and one in Mililani Mauka). Guzman --- who was featured on the television show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," offers a bevy of poke to live up to the store's namesake: some of their "must tries" include the sweet onion ahi poke, the blackened ahi poke, furikake salmon poke, ginger scallion shrimp poke, "Da Works" poke, and the spicy creamy ahi poke.
