The Pub at Golden Road Brewing Restaurant Review:
On weekend afternoons, families with dogs in tow flock to the front and side patios at The Pub at Golden Road. Games like supersized Jenga-style blocks keep youngsters amused while the adults enjoy a pint. There are 20 revolving taps, plus a menu of snacks, salads, sandwiches and burgers. Fried avocado tacos are a highlight from the vegan options, which are helpfully labeled. Funny and informative brewery tours are held Friday through Sunday at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Golden Road also features private events spaces, including the speakeasy-themed Chloe's tucked behind the pub. The brewery also operates a tasting bar at downtown's Grand Central Market.
