Sandlot Brewery Restaurant Review:

For lovers of baseball and craft brews, this brewpub is an in-the-park homerun. The Coors Field address --- the pub is tucked into the stadium's right field corner --- means you can sip suds while taking in the ballgame culture. Many do, as elbow-to-elbow crowds pack the place on game day. But be warned --- a ticket to the game (and a good dose of patience) are required for enjoying a bite here when the Rockies are in the house. Off-game days mean all are welcome to come in and munch on hotdogs, burgers multi-layered sandwiches, Mexican fare and other eats. Workweek business types and stadium tourists make up the lunch crowds, beer geeks and singles the nighttime set. They drink in-house brews, reflecting the brewpub's role as a craft beer test-station for Blue Moon Brewing Company. Seasonal beers and occasional test batches bolster the beer lineup.
