THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Squeaky Bean Farm + Table Restaurant Review:

Brunch, lunch, dinner: No matter the time of day, it always feels a lot like a convivial party among friends at The Squeaky Bean, Johnny Ballen's irreverent, playful and farm-focused New American restaurant in LoDo. A finely tuned staff that doesn't miss a beat is complemented by an equally skilled kitchen commanded by executive chef Chris MacGillivray, whose dishes result in delightful culinary odysseys that pay homage to the seasons as well as the Bean's local farms, from which many of the ingredients are plucked. Creamy risotto is brightened with English peas and mint; burrata is paired with pistachio pesto; and the lamb is matched with kale, morel mushrooms and chickpeas. Dessert could be a tart with strawberry, blueberry and white chocolate, and there’s a deeply satisfying cheese plate, too. The wine list comprises lovely offerings, and the mind-altering cocktail roster is rhapsodic. Meanwhile, the Bean's bingo brunch, hosted by a sassy drag queen on Saturday and a silly comedian on Sunday, is a weekend ritual that's full of revelry. Don't miss the eggs Benedict, the pork belly hash or the croque madame, and hope that the bingo numbers work in your favor. Prizes, including jugs of mimosas and a gift card to the restaurant, are awarded to the winners.
