Feel the heat and hear the beat at this Warehouse District hot spot. The kitchen sizzles with Latin American and Caribbean scents, while live music seduces. Ruby-colored walls and palm-shaped ceiling fans conspire to transport diners to a land far, far away. Yes, we love coming here to escape, to drink a perfectly muddled mint mojito (or two or three) and to eat something unusually good, like the sea bass served in a sweetly enhanced pumpkin seed sauce or a pork roast redolent of Cuban spices. Desserts are a highlight; chocolate tres leches is cool, light and lovely; likewise the orange and coconut flan. Service is smooth (usually) and wine savvy.
