Bacchanal Buffet Restaurant Review

About the restaurant: Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is an over-the-top feast featuring nine open kitchens and more than 500 items served daily. The massive 25,000-square-foot space overlooks the Garden of the Gods pool complex and has a light, airy feel. There are three dining areas, each themed around wood, glass or steel, with seating for up to 600 guests. On weekends, more than 3,000 hungry patrons load up their plates here.

About the food: Much of the buffet is interactive, with a master chef and a couple of cooks serving buffet standards and a variety of international offerings like fresh crab, scallop Rockefeller, salads, oak-grilled lamb chops, fried chicken, tacos, chicken Marsala, house-smoked meats from a wood-burning smoker, wood-fired pizzas, dim sum, sushi and sashimi. Be sure to save room for the dessert station, with made-to-order crêpes enhanced with fresh fruit; a selection of gelato; and soufflés baked to order.

Likes: the all experience.
Dislikes: the line.

Prices: Morning Fare Mon.-Fri. $39.99, Sat.-Sun. $54.99; Brunch Mon.-Fri. $44.99, Sat.-Sun. $59.99; Dinner Mon.-Thurs. $54.99, Fri.-Sun. $64.99.
