barbacco eno trattoria Restaurant Review:

The rambunctious little sister to Umberto Gibin and Staffan Terje’s popular Perbacco just next door features chef Miguel Peffer’s simple stylings of Italian classics. Opening selections include vegetable and seafood bites, house-cured salumi and a range of salads. We preferred the creamy chicken liver pâté with balsamic and pear to the unwieldy gnoccho fritto with prosciutto and burrata. An earthy green garlic lumache with lamb ragù pleasingly incorporates flakes of mint and chili, and the sliced flatiron steak is served atop chunks of maitake mushroom drenched in red wine butter. Cauliflower dressed in lemon and bread crumbs makes a worthwhile side. A list of mostly Italian wines includes 25 by the glass, and a dozen beers round out the bar. A short list of desserts and cheeses is led by a creamy wedge of Humboldt Fog with poached dry cherries.
