Barbusa Restaurant Review

: A pioneer in San Diego’s Little Italy district, Joe Busalacchi opened his first restaurant in the area back in 1994. Twenty-plus years later, with a proven track record and his sons by his side, Busalacchi has joined forces once again with executive chef Nino Zizzo (Po Pazzo, Trattoria Fantastica) to conceptualize Barbusa, where the menu features lighter, traditional Sicilian cuisine with contemporary twists. Expect local seafood and produce, Italian specialty cheeses and meats, an in-house pasta program and more.
