Beach Pit BBQ Newport-Mesa Restaurant Review

: Newport-Mesa’s Beach Pit BBQ is a neighborhood favorite for smoky and savory barbecue, along with healthy entrée salads and good side dishes. All of the wood-smoked meats are tender and flavorful, including the pulled pork, beef brisket, St. Louis-style ribs and chicken. There are also sandwiches, a few Mexican-inspired items, and a nice kids’ menu. Don’t miss the sweet potato fries, blueberry cornbread or banana pudding dessert. The outdoor playground --- in addition to the kids’ menu --- makes it a draw for Newport Beach and Costa Mesa parents. Have a special occasion coming up? The restaurant prepares "holiday" smoked ham and turkeys for family feasts all year round.
