You don’t have to like red meat to dine here (there are salads, chicken dishes and a few seafood offerings), but it sure helps, since Beef Eaters announces its focus right at the front door, where a huge, steamship round of beef is on display, waiting to be carved into the makings of roast beef dinners, sandwiches, and yes, roast beef salads. The meat is flavorful and juicy, and served plentifully, a fact that endears BeefEaters to the mixed crowd of locals, visitors and seniors. The restaurant is fairly quiet, despite the fact that the huge, high ceilinged room is built in a manner that encourages echoes. Beef truly stars on this menu, and those who don’t want it roasted often opt for the huge, juicy burgers.
