THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bice Ristorante Restaurant Review:
This Dallas outpost of the popular Milan restaurant is not quite like a trip to Italy, but there are some highlights that make it worth a visit. Try the chopped tuna tartare drizzled with a lemon dressing to start. Maybe the only place in Dallas that has vitello tonnato on the menu (and it’s a pretty good rendition for being 5,000 miles from Piedmont), Bice offers a version with creamy sauce that has plenty of tang from the capers and a delicate saltiness from the anchovies and tuna. While fried calamari is decent, not greasy and with reasonably light batter, it doesn’t produce any fireworks. House-made pastas are serviceable, the best being pappardelle with chunks of earthy mushrooms.
