THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bistral Restaurant Review:

As comfortable as a pair of beloved tennis shoes, Bistral, with its casual, friendly atmosphere, invites lingering. You can almost hear customers talking themselves into another glass of wine, a nibble of dessert (go for the refreshing lemon tart). The menu is basically French, but also offers plenty of familiar American salads and sandwiches and Southwestern touches like fish tacos. Our single favorite item so far has been a plump juicy burger, cooked exactly to order and served with a pile of those irresistible pommes frites. Here’s a tip we’re grudgingly sharing---Bistral is a shoe-in to meet for an after---dinner drink. Be sure to split an order of cheese/artichoke fondue, served with soft brioche and crispy lahvosh.
