THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bloom Restaurant Review:
Bloom is another success story from restaurateur Sam Fox whose stark and contemporary American restaurant offers appealing urban buzz and good food. The white-walled, bi-level dining room, furnished with brilliant blue banquettes and splashy pictures of flowers, makes a dramatic setting for pretty 30-somethings. It's often busy, drawing customers to its terrific wine list offering 70 wines by the glass and a slew of interesting flights which can be paired with a comfortable menu of wood-grilled center-cut pork chops and grilled ahi with sesame seed ponzu. The two things you absolutely shouldn't miss are the warm lobster salad (splashed with white truffle vinaigrette) and the bars of sin---two chocolate and praline bars with cappuccino mousse, dipped in chocolate and served with vanilla bean ice cream.
