THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Blue Agave Restaurant Review:

As Manhattan Bar & Grill, this restaurant was famous as the piano bar where artists like David Benoit and Harry Connick Jr. would drop in to play a few numbers. The music was the main attraction because the food was merely adequate Italian fare. Now Blue Agave, this Mexican restaurant serves good but standard fare. The marinated flank steak is a highlight and the carnitas burrito is very good, but the Caesar salad using bland cotija cheese rather than Parmesan is best avoided. Those who liked the place in its earlier incarnation will be happy to see that the piano is still in use, making this Manhattan Beach's only jazz club.
