THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED boe Restaurant Review:
Located within the Crescent Beverly Hills hotel, this restaurant has evolved into a happening nightspot (that also serves breakfast and lunch) for mingling and noshing in a very urbane setting. A moderately priced menu offers dishes ranging from a sesame chicken salad to braised beef short ribs in a mild chile-tomatillo sauce. The wine list is surprisingly substantial and creative for such a small dining venue and includes everything from Pol Roger to Edmeades Petite Sirah to Elderton late harvest Semillon. With the exception of a private room overlooking the bar-lounge, the entire dining space is outdoors and holds less than a dozen tables. But overflow spills quite naturally into the lounge, a series of settees and comfortable chairs in stark shades of beige, white and black warmed by the presence of a large gas fireplace.
