Local pasture-raised beef forms the patties for burgers in all their many forms (teriyaki, chili, cheese, bacon) at Bubba, where the choices are plentiful and the burgers are big and lean. Chili, fish ‘n’ chips, chicken sandwiches, and an assortment of onion rings and fries round out the menu. Be prepared to wait: this is a tiny place with a few outdoor tables quickly taken by the hordes that descend at lunch. Also located at 4-1421 Kuhio Hwy., 808-823-0069.
