Café Bahar Restaurant Review:

Plain but colorful Café Bahar may look like a high school gym decorated for a prom, but its menu is anything but tinsel-thin. Expect goat in myriad forms from soup to curry (some dishes available only on weekends), traditional biryani rice selections from egg to fish (go with the simpler egg model), southern Indian idly, dosa (try the massive masala dosa), uttapam and more, plus starters like the sweet-hot cauliflower Manchurian. Fenugreek leaves appear in several items, the haunting chicken methi among them. More-typical marinated and tandoori-cooked chicken skewers are exemplary. And everything is served to the visual accompaniment of Bollywood movies on a large-screen TV, fortunately muted.
