Cafe Bernardo is a neighborhood favorite for its inviting ambience and contemporary California cuisine. In fact, it was one of the first places to showcase seasonal produce, cage-free eggs and humanely treated meats at a reasonable price. Starters include lentil soup and a quinoa and roasted cauliflower salad, while mains include grilled polenta, stir-fried noodles and flat-iron steak.
