THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Delancey Restaurant Review:
Slightly off Camden Town High Street, Café Delancey caters as much for regulars who know its location as for visitors who find it by chance. Consequently, it has a local feel that fits in well with its successful French brasserie theme---wood floors, wood chairs and blackboards proclaiming specials. The menu changes weekly and does not contain GM ingredients. There is a delicious warm seafood salad with truffle oil, baby spinach and mixed herbs garnished with crab, mussels and langoustine; and La Salade Delancey, a warm pasta salad with roasted peppers, fresh herbs, Parmesan, olives, capers and tomatoes. There's plenty to satisfy traditional meat-eaters too, like entrecôte au poivre vert. Coffee and pastries are good, too.
