THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Havana Restaurant Review:
Oh, to have lived the glamorous pre-Castro days in Cuba. Café Havana gives you a taste of what life was like when the rum flowed freely and the party never ended. The interior of this place is gorgeous, all draping velvet curtains and soft light. Besides twosomes looking for dinner and romance, expect to find advertising executives on expense accounts loudly entertaining clients while men-of-a-certain age and their trophy blondes share a cigar at the expansive bar. The menu features old-time Cuban favorites: traditional rice and beans, steak marinated in port, seafood, fried plantains. We appreciate the martini list, but it’s still the food on our plates that keep us coming back. End with the amazing tres leches cake.
