THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Pacifica Restaurant Review:
Café Pacifica has transformed from the upscale date-night favorite to a more local and family-friendly Mexican restaurant featuring home-cooked dishes with fresh ingredients. Owner Anthony Cefalu, who also commands Zagarella in Little Italy, has revamped the menu and style of Café Pacifica with hopes to appeal to the local crowd who favor fine yet affordable Mexican made from scratch. Pomegranate-infused margaritas and fresh ceviche make for a good start. The menu includes tequila-lime shrimp, made-to-order chile rellenos, and the usual suspects like burritos, tacos, quesadillas and flan. At Café Pacifica, it’s not about the flash or luring throngs of tourists in Old Town, rather it’s for people who appreciate high-quality Mexican food.
