Typical bistro trappings, such as the wine bottle décor and Eiffel Tower-type prints, set a quaint, if familiar, scene at this far north spot. Established in 1990, the restaurant offers a number of special (and quite good) menus, incorporating tapas-style dishes. The French onion soup and seafood-loaded bouillabaisse fare well. The same is true of the hearty beef bourguignon. A mostly-French wine list proffers plenty of affordable selections. Cafe Pyrenees also has an extensive catering program and private event space.
