THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cafe Unique Restaurant Review:

The constant queue at Café Unique is due to the distinctive Creole fare. The gumbo is dark as sin, studded with chicken, ham, shellfish and sausage; and the succotash translates here as a deep soup plate filled with not only lima beans and corn but also tomatoes, okra, green beans and a bit of smoked sausage. The ribs and fried chicken are, of course, Southern good, and the coconut cream pies delivered on Fridays only are worthy of a line in anyone's date book.
