California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review:

Be daring and try one of CPKs more inventive pies, such as the artichoke and spinach combination, pear and Gorgonzola, or the B.L.T. combo --- complete with mayonnaise. The barbecued chicken pizza, in regular and Hawaiian versions, is one of the most popular pizzas on the menu. Crusts tend to be doughy, but a thin crust option rectifies this somewhat. Non-pizza eaters will find plenty to choose from, such as the Thai linguine with spicy peanut-ginger sauce, hummus, or smashed pea and barley soup. Salads are generously portioned, and the barbecued chicken salad is just like its pizza namesake minus the crust. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices are also available, plus a children's menu. Desserts, as well as beer, wine and cocktails, round out the menu. The dining room, in swanky Bridgeport Village, is large and cheerful.
